About this piece

Design and manufacture

Printed as one hollow lattice shell in titanium, then mirror polished and PVD coated in gold. Two cubic zirconia are set by hand. Because the structure is a lattice rather than solid metal, the earring measures 28 mm across and still weighs under 1.1 g - light enough to wear all day without the lobe pulling.

Lattice geometry is the reason this part exists: it cannot be cast or machined at this weight, and it cannot be produced without additive manufacturing. Made to order in 7-10 days.

Can I order this in white gold or rose gold?

Yes. The same earring is available with a champagne, rose gold or black PVD finish at the same price. Colour is applied after polishing, so a custom colour adds 2-3 working days.

Is it hypoallergenic?

Titanium is one of the most biocompatible metals used in jewellery - it contains no nickel and is safe for sensitive skin. The PVD layer adds a further barrier.

Can this design be made in 316L stainless steel?

Yes, and it is about 30% cheaper if you do not need the weight advantage of titanium. Ask for the 316L version when you send the enquiry.
