Terms of service

Who you contract with. DIMENSION 3D is an independent sales channel run by Han, working together with the production facility in Vietnam. Quotations come from that person; invoices, packing lists and material certificates are issued by the manufacturing facility that makes the parts. This site is not the corporate website of that facility, and nothing here should be read as a statement of its registered name or address. Ask for the issuing entity before you pay a deposit - it is written on the quotation.

1. Quotations

Quotations are valid for 30 days and are based on the file, quantity and specification supplied. If the file changes, the price is re-quoted. Quotation and design review are free of charge.

2. Orders and payment

Production starts after written approval of the quotation and receipt of a 50% deposit; the balance is due before shipment. Payment by T/T unless agreed otherwise in writing. Tooling, where applicable, is invoiced with the deposit and owned by the customer once paid.

3. Lead times

Lead times are quoted in working days from approval and deposit, and exclude shipping transit and customs clearance. Rush production is available on request and may carry a surcharge.

4. Tolerances and specification

Unless a drawing specifies otherwise, parts are supplied to general additive manufacturing tolerance - typically +/-0.1 mm on critical features, or +/-0.3% for dimensions above 100 mm. Cosmetic acceptance is judged against the approved sample or master. Where a critical dimension must be held tighter, it must be marked on the drawing and will be inspected and reported.

5. Samples and approval

For production orders we supply a sample or first article for approval. Once approved, that sample is the reference for all later batches. Changes requested after approval are treated as a new order.

6. Warranty and claims

Parts that do not meet the approved drawing or sample are reworked or replaced at our cost. Claims must be raised within 30 days of delivery with photographs and, where relevant, the inspection report. We are not liable for defects caused by a design we manufactured to your specification, nor for indirect or consequential loss.

7. Intellectual property

You confirm that you own or are licensed to use the design you send. We keep your design confidential, do not produce it for third parties, and do not display it publicly without your written permission. Designs we develop ourselves (ODM) are licensed to you for the products you order.

8. Shipping and duties

Shipping is by DHL or FedEx air, or sea freight for larger orders, FOB by default. Duties, taxes and import clearance are the buyer's responsibility unless a DDP quotation is requested and confirmed.
