Process

How it works - four steps, no phone calls required

Upload a file or send a photo. You get a price, a lead time and - if something will not print - a specific note about what to change. Approved work goes into production the same week.

The steps

From file to doorstep

01
📤

Send your file

STL, STEP, OBJ, 3MF, IGES or a ZIP - or just a photo and a sketch if that is all you have. Up to 15 MB through the form, larger files by email.

02
📧

Quote and review

An engineer checks printability, chooses the process and finish, and replies within 48 hours with a price breakdown and a lead time.

03
🏭

Manufacture and finish

Printing, stress relief, support removal, then PVD coating, blasting or polishing. Photos of the first article on request.

04
🚚

Inspect and ship

Dimensional and appearance checks against the drawing, inspection report in the box, DHL / FedEx air or sea freight.

What to send

The five things that make a quote accurate

Every missing item below costs a round trip. Include them in the first message and the first quote is usually the final one:

  • Geometry - STEP preferred over STL. STEP keeps the intent; STL is a mesh and cannot be re-dimensioned.
  • Material - or the requirement: "must be light", "must not corrode", "must be food safe". We will pick the alloy.
  • Quantity - and whether it is a one-off or a repeat order. Batch pricing is different from prototype pricing.
  • Tolerances - flag the critical dimensions. Everything else we hold to general tolerance and tell you which is which.
  • Finish and deadline - polished, coated, painted, assembled. The finish often determines the lead time more than the printing does.

Payment and shipping

50% deposit, 50% before shipment. T/T, and other terms for established accounts. Free shipping on orders over $500 by air; duties and taxes are the buyer's responsibility unless you ask for a DDP quote.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How fast can you turn around an urgent part?

Resin and FDM prototypes can ship in 48-72 hours if the file arrives before noon and the machine has capacity. Metal parts need 5-10 working days because of stress relief and finishing. Tell us the deadline in the first message and we will say immediately whether it is achievable.

Do you charge for the quote?

No. Quotation and design review are free, including the printability check. You pay only when you approve the price.

Can I see a sample before the batch?

Yes, and for OEM work we require it. Production only starts after you approve a physical sample or a signed master, which then becomes the reference for every later batch.

What if I do not have a 3D file?

Send a photo with dimensions, or a physical sample and we will reverse-engineer it into a drawing for your approval. Many of our hardware customers start this way.
