About this piece

Design and manufacture

A hollow lattice sphere printed in a single build with no internal support, then mirror polished and PVD coated. The openings are sized so the lattice reads as a pattern from a metre away and as structure close up - the effect you get from printing, not from casting.

Supplied on a 45 cm adjustable chain in the same finish. Also available as a pair for earrings.

Every piece is made to order. Send your own file, or ask for this design with changes - size, PVD colour, material or engraving - and you get a quote for the modified version within 48 hours.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is the lattice strong enough for daily wear?

Yes. 1.2 mm struts in 316L survive normal handling and the sphere is hollow but closed, so there are no thin edges to catch. We do not recommend it for children under 3.

Can it be engraved?

Yes - laser engraving on the bail or a small flat plate at the top. Send the text and font preference with your order.

What is the difference between this and the titanium version?

The titanium version weighs about 40% less and costs more. The 316L version is the same geometry in a denser metal, so it feels heavier and takes a slightly brighter polish.
